East Aceh District Government and PT Askes (Persero) Branch Langsa cooperation is expected soon for the public health service for people with physical disabilities. This cooperation is considered crucial given the number of residents of East Aceh who have physical disabilities due to the conflict in Aceh in the past.

That was revealed by the Head of Civil Service Organizations Setdakab East Aceh, A Hamid, in the presence of PT Askes Branch Head Langsa, Cut Yasma, on socialization activities held by PT Askes (Persero) Branch Langsa for the ranks of officials and civil servants in East Aceh regency Regional Secretariat , Wednesday (30 / 6) in the auditorium of the local Women's Dharma.

"During this time, the question we all, officials baik di Pemerintah maupun masyarakat East Aceh which megalami physical limitations / disabilities is why PT Askes not cooperate with the Medical Rehabilitation Hospital located in East Aceh District Peureulak," said Hamid.

It is said, as the data Aceh Reintegration Agency (BRA), there were 1246 residents of East Aceh suffered physical limitations and defects caused by the conflict. The victims of the conflict to date has not yet received the maximum service from the government to solve their problems.

Therefore, said Hamid, the presence of Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in Sub Peureulak quite feasible to organize health services for people who experience physical limitations and disabilities caused by such past conflicts.

"To support guaranteed service for people who experience physical and keterbatasn flaw, is to seek health insurance (Askes) for those who must work together with PT Askes (Persero)," called A Hamid.

He added that the convention of the United Nations (UN) mentioned the government shall promote, protect and guarantee the rights for people who experience disability. Similarly, in Law No. 4 Year 1997 Section 6, describes each of the disabled have the right to receive physical rehabilitation.

Answering these questions, the Head of PT Askes (Persero) Branch Langsa, Cut Yasma admitted his side has received numerous expectation, both from the director of Medical Rehabilitation Hospital officials dr Alamsyah and other East Aceh.

However, to realize these expectations need to process and there are some important conditions that must be met as well as the status of the Medical Rehabilitation Hospital itself, and legality of operations other than hospitals.

Because up until now, he said, services, PT Askes cooperation with the government hospitals / private hospitals which already has a category of type A, B and C. If still Uncategorized D, it is classified as a PHC. "Obviously these good wishes and desires, then deserve our support and hope Askes services will also be applicable in Medical Rehabilitation Hospital, East Aceh," said Cut Yasma.
